Mr. Chong also shared with me his preferences on Chinese painting in this letter. In summary, he said that Chinese Painting are able to bring such lightness, peace and relieved feeling when one's viewing the painting. It has such classic and poetic aura.

That unique aura comes from the soul of art and it is reflected from the heart of an artist.

Most of the artist they always used the nature as their source of inspiration. The reason is because it is only by being able to capture the essence of the nature and illustrate it in a painting, one can achieve a good painting.

The highest achievement in art is to be natural. When things are being done naturally that where one can blend in with the nature. Drawing is not just about skills or techniques, it is about a concept or thoughts. It is the expression of one's realisation towards life .

Mr. Chong mentioned that he always paint or draw something with all his heart and soul without being distracted by any issues that has happened and discussed. Express your thought through your drawing. Just draw it based on how you feel. If you like to do something, do it whole-heartedly. Usually it always during unexpected moment, you are able to produce a good and touching painting. It should not be distracted by the trend during that time.
